In part two of two special Independence Day podcasts, Kentucky Housing Corporation's Executive Director, Edwin King, talks with Ron Georgette, founder of Operation Stand Down Kentucky (OSDKY), to talk about services available to veterans and what OSDKY offers those vulnerable veterans (i.e. those struggling with mental health, drugs and alcohol; and/or who are physically incapacitated). OSDKY is a professional veteran fiduciary/representative payee program that focuses on paying a veteran's debts and monthly fixed expenses. A veteran can either be appointed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or voluntarily admit themselves into the program as a willing participant to get their lives back on track.

More information about OSDKY can be found at www.osdky.org.
