    Homeownership 101

    In celebration of June as National Homeownership Month, we asked Melissa Johnson, Kay Smith, and Krista McIver from our Single-Family Department to join us and discuss how more Kentuckians can achieve their dream of homeownership.

    They outlined how prospective buyers should begin their journey, who to contact, the benefits of owning a home, and the 10 Commandments of Homeownership. 

    Lastly, they discussed KHC’s $10,000 down payment assistance program and mortgage credit certificate program, and how they make homeownership more affordable and accessible to Kentuckians.
